About Us

Dr. Danielle Hurley

MSc, DC, MCAI

Originally from Kilkenny, Dani has always been interested in Chiropractic due to her involvement in Camogie and Hockey whilst in school. After suffering from knee and back injuries through sport she wanted to learn more about why the injuries occurred and how to try fix them. Two years doing Applied Physiology and Health and Science at IT Carlow Dr Dani then went on to study her Masters in Chiropractic in Wales. After spending 4 amazing years in Wales it was time to return home and from here Absolute Chiropractic was born!

She is a proud member of the Chiropractic of Ireland and has done additional training in Dry Needling and KinesioTaping techniques. Dani utilises her skills in deep muscle work along with Chiropractic and believes in not only treating and relieving pain but preventing long-term recurrence through specific exercise prescription and rehabilitation, thereby promoting a healthy and active lifestyle and an improved quality of life.

Dani lives in Midleton with her husband Cillian and their two children, Rhys and Chloe.

Dr. Grace Strange

MSc, DC, MCAI

Grace was born and raised in New Zealand, which was also where she studied for 5 years at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. After gaining her Bachelor’s degree in Chiropractic, she worked in her home city of Auckland, before hitting the road and taking on a locum role across multiple practices in the North Island of New Zealand.

She also comes from a sports background, playing netball and touch rugby (tag) for most of her school life. Through this she developed an interest in how our body moves and functions, and what we can do to support this (or make it better!). Team sports have since turned into running and yoga, however she is always keen to learn and new skill and apply this to her job.

Whether you’ve never exercised before, or do so at a higher intensity, helping you figure out how your body moves and educating you about this is one of her true passions.

Grace has recently moved to Ireland with her partner, Jack, enjoying all the outdoor adventures East Cork has to offer, and even a few overseas trips when they can! She loves travelling to new places, good food and coffee, and chatting about all the above.
